Within the sciences, solely forty eight evaluation doctorates have been awarded to Native American and Alaska Native school college students, out of the 11,764 doctorates awarded to U.S. residents in 2012. The Sloan Indigenous Graduate Partnership helps Native American college students pursuing graduate training in STEM disciplines.
